Made-to-measure furniture, doors and stairs, built in our own workshop and fitted by us.
Most homes have a corner that off-the-shelf furniture never quite fits: the alcove beside a chimney breast, a sloping loft ceiling, the space under the stairs. Bespoke joinery solves that. Each piece is designed around the room it will live in, made to measure in solid timber or quality sheet materials, and fitted so it looks as though it was always there.
We make everything in our own workshop and install it ourselves, so the work stays in the same hands from the first measurement to the final coat. The people who measure your alcove are the people who build the unit and fit it, so nothing gets lost between a designer, a factory and a fitting crew. Carpentry has been in the family for two generations, and after more than 25 years in homes across Surrey, we know how older houses behave: walls that aren’t straight, floors that aren’t level. We plan for it from the start.
Below are the pieces we make most often. If what you have in mind isn’t listed, ask anyway, because many of our best jobs began with “I’m not sure if this is possible”. You’ll get an honest quote, a realistic lead time and a clear drawing of the finished piece before any timber is cut.
